Regenerate: 1. To re-create, reconstitute, or make over; to revive or produce anew. 2. To restore to a favorable state. 3. Highpoint Nazarene’s youth!
ReGenerate, Highpoint’s youth group, is headed in a great direction. Junior high and high school students have a great team who disciple and lead, walking with them through the teenage years. The adult crew, made up of teachers, worship leaders, ministry students and more, is headed by Youth Pastor Andrew Pfeiffer. Andrew says, “We (REgenerate Youth Group) exist to Equip Students and their Families to Grow Deeper in their Walk With Christ, Encourage Them to Be Relational, and to Be Intentional with Our Time Together.”
The ReGenerate teams meet twice weekly, Sunday nights (6pm) and Wednesday nights (7pm). Between Nerf darts, spicy food, scavenger hunts, and dodge ball, the students worship, learn, and build relationships with one another and with mentors. They are working towards ReCreating a youth room, with couches, a TV, games, and a casual, comfortable place to hang out. They are ReBuilding a teen group with friends and fun, centered in the love of Christ.
Above all, the Highpoint ReGenerate team wants to see a ReVival in our teens! We are building a teen group that develops a love for Jesus, a desire to share Him with friends and family, and great relationships with each other. We want to see our teens in the heart of the church family, not a sub-culture. Our goal is to see our teens step into lifestyles of service, ministry, discipleship, evangelism, and worship within their families and friends, the church, and the kingdom.
